Blue Crane Treatment Wetlands is a South African company based in Pretoria.
Blue Crane Treatment Wetlands, founded in 1999, is a South African private consulting engineering firm based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The founders of the firm are all qualified civil engineers with multi-annual experience in wastewater treatment by constructed wetlands.

We specialize in the design, project management, construction and maintenance of water treatment facilities with the use of constructed wetland and planted reed bed technology.

We are continuously striving to improve the quality of our products. We do research and investigate the latest technology available and implement the most efficient and successful water treatment systems available.

Experience

With over 20 years’ experience in designing, constructing, operating and maintaining constructed wetland systems, Blue Crane has a reputation for expertise and quality through working with industries, businesses, mines and authorities. Our team consists of civil engineers with more than 30 years combined hands-on experience in this field, project managers and qualified and experienced maintenance teams. Blue Crane is in partnership with ARM Reed Beds in the United Kingdom. ARM specialises in the development and application of natural wastewater treatment systems using constructed wetland technology. Designing over 500 treatment systems, ARM provides wastewater treatment for a whole range of applications and continues to pioneer new ideas to improve performance in contaminant removal.
