Constructed wetlands requires low levels of maintenance but are not maintenance free. Blue Crane prefers to remain involved with the operation and maintenance of the systems in order to protect the asset and the technology. Like any system, a lack of maintenance will result in system failure. Maintenance activities are essential to preserve the long-term functioning of the constructed wetlands.
With experience gathered over 25 years, Blue Crane can provide long term maintenance agreements to ensure optimal systems performance. An appropriately designed and well executed operation and maintenance plan will guarantee a longer life-span of the constructed wetland systems.
